John Burke has danced in the Bay Area since around 1980. He has been a teacher frequently at Stanford Folk Dancers, specializing in Bulgarian, Macedonian and Romanian dances that are “too complicated to simply pick up.”

Eileen Menteer has been folk dancing for fifty years, starting with Sunny Bloland’s class in Berkeley.
