Orkestar Cope-a-Cabana

Orkestar Cope-a-Cabana is a group of talented local musicians playing Balkan and Greek music, and led by well-known multi-instrumentalist Bill Cope.

Bill Cope, an all-around multi-instrumentalist whose music folk dancers have loved to dance to for many years. He performs internationally as well as with many local Bay area ensembles, and is the Director of the San Francisco Kolo Festival. Instruments: accordion, laouto, gajda.

Michele Simon is a singer and percussionist, specializing in Balkan folk music and folk dance music. She has performed internationally as well as with many local Bay area ensembles, including Anoush, Brass Menazeri, and Kitka. Instruments: tupan, dumbek.
